The article is devoted to the problem of the development of education in the context of informatization of the problems that arose in connection with the coronavirus pandemic. Attention is drawn to the need for additional legal regulation of the educational process in the remote mode. The dependence of the development of the digital economy on the informatization of education and the need to systematize educational law are indicated. The value of informatization for the content of freedom of speech is shown.
